Recently Lewis Quarries took delivery of a new Powerscreen Warrior 2400. The Warrior 2400 Apron Feeder Scalper Screen is fitted with a triple shaft screenbox, a top deck of 100mm punch-plate and bottom deck of 40mm mesh. The screenbox set-up is at 45 degrees with two weights fitted and speed set at 790RPM.
The machine is currently producing three end products all supplied to the Pacific Highway upgrade. The -40mm is used for sub road-base. The mid-size material, -100mm to +40mm, is used for drainage rock and finally, the over-sized material, +100 to -300mm, is used for small end gabion rock.
The Warrior range is one of Powerscreen’s top sellers. Officially launched in June 2010, the first Warrior 2400 was sold in Australia and has since been shipped to customers across the world.
The Powerscreen Warrior 2400 has been specifically designed for large-scale operators. Its robust design features a heavy duty incline screen with a high amplitude triple shaft drive mechanism, making it ideally suited to scalping at the quarry face, large volume screening, 2 or 3 way splitting and stockpiling of a variety of high specification materials.
Lewis Quarry, based in New South Wales, is a family-owned business with 35 years of experience and a major supplier to a number of large organisations, small businesses and private individuals.
